The
basic technique is traditional water colour. The initial setting up
is in pencil and prepared from your plans and elevations, and/or photographs,
complete with references of furniture and effects. When points of views
are agreed, first draft setups prepared and amended to your approval,
colour schemes and material samples provided, the drawings are then
coloured and completed.
Please notice I have no need for CAD computer generated magical mirrors,
or wire line frames twisting in space to confuse the point of view,
and the point of original art work.
The result is an accurate emotional water colour painting
of your design concept. My drawings may not reflect all the truth, but
certainly tell no lies! (This at times can be very important.)
All proportions are relevant to one and other, the overall
image, ambiance and purpose of each drawing is to reflect your design,
your thoughts and ideas for your client in an original piece of artwork
created by both of us.
My experience in this field is long, interesting and different.
The orders of architecture, draftsmanship, style and fashion are known,
combined with period decoration and design, plus a bit of theatrical
drama we can achieve what is needed.
